KPMG Hazem Hassan is one of the big four auditing firms worldwide and number 1 in Egypt. 15 of Faculty of Management Sciences MSA fresh graduates joined the graduate program at KPMG Hazem Hassan from 1st of August to 31st of October 2018. The Faculty of Management Sciences selected a group of its students to participate under the supervision of Prof. Doaa Abdou, Dr. Hatem El Banna and assistant lecturer Noha Allam in the CFA Institute Research Challenge with other national and private Egyptian universities. The CFA Research Challenge orientation session was held at PriceWaterhouseCoopers (PWC). The students who are participating in the contest and attended the orientation session are: Omar Mostafa, Youssef Marzouk, Salma Naguib, Ingy Rashwan and Youssef Waleed.

Based on the objectives of the university to achieve an effective role in the ‎participation of ‎ students in various activities, the department of Social ‎and Sports ‎activities ‎organized championships ‎ between different faculties in the following activities‏:‏

Summer Training Committee STC organised the fifth trip this semester to Al Nahar TV.

EPSF-MSA were allowed to host about 400 people from 27 different universities inside our campus. They were the executive board of each local association and EPSF Executives board meeting up to introduce themselves to a successful mandate.‎‎

MSA as Mentor for the Egyptian team in Huawei's ICT Competition 2018 event 13-19 May -Shenzhen -China. ICT Huawei Global competition draws Over 40,000 Student Participants from 32 Countries.

The faculty of biotechnology just held the poster discussion session for 168 students enrolled in the Industrial projects course which included a demonstration of the student’s individual projects in all fields of biotechnology. The students’ projects were mainly proposed biotechnological ventures aimed at solving persisting industrial issues, introducing novel applications as well as advancements or enhancements to preexisting ones. Each student has three examiners to evaluate the poster.

In an Honorary event, eleven major Pharmaceutical, Medical and Laboratory institutes awarded more than five hundred outstanding Pharmacy students with training certificates for their completion of the summer training courses provided by MSA.

The Faculty of Biotechnology organized one day scientific conference as a part of its advanced courses. This conference aimed at dispersing some of the advanced made in genome analysis with the hope of enlightening young scientists of some of the theories and research that done by their peers and professionals in the field.

The annual "Harvest 6" for the students of the faculty on Monday, 30/4/2018 at 12 pm at Arts and Design gallery’s at the university campus in at 6th of October city – attended the opining Prof. Khayri abd el Hamid, University president and Prof. Tarek Saleh, Dean of Arts and Design, also Dr. Hilmi Al Shanwani - Head of applied arts designers syndicate and Prof. Dr. Hamdi Abu al-Maati, Head of plastic arts syndicate, and many university professors and artists.

The 2nd Annual MSA University workshop was organized by the Faculty Affairs, Seminars and Publicity (FASP) Committee of the Electrical System Engineering (ESE) department and chaired by the department’s head, Prof. Samy El-Hennawy, under the auspices of Dr. Nawal El Degwy MSA Chairman of the Board of Trustees.

Due to the fact that a strong economy initiates from a strong base of educated workforce, the Faculty of Management Sciences offered MSA’s students with a student activity referred to as “The Stock Market Simulation”.

The faculty of Biotechnology held a workshop entitled “Applications of Stem Cells”. The day entailed several activities including guest speakers and a practical session; the main theme portrayed the notion of encouraging participants to further their learning and development in the processes and applications of stem cells.

MSA Faculty of Management Sciences students were selected from the Top Winners in the Tax Competition on 6th of March 2018 sponsored by Ernst & Young one of the four large Accounting firms worldwide.

The National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education (NAQAAE) team is currently visiting the Faculty of Engineering, on a visit that will be held over 3 days; from 19th to 21st of March, 2018

The industrial projects students were given a unique experience. Where the Chairman and CEO of Delta Aromatics Mr. Omar Abdelreheem and Mr. Joachuin Lanz provided a lecture on the world of aromatics including perfumery, flavoring, food coloring and essential oils in general.

The faculty of Biotechnology held a session for the Systems Biology. The session was given by research assistant Mr. Ali Kishk who discussed several concepts into using computational structures for biological applications and systems biology methods in Malaria resistance.

The students attended a marketing lecture by the the external communication director Ms Passant Fouad. She talked about how Juhayna is handling competition in the egyptian market and in the foreign one. Also, she talked about some statistics related to the brand loyalty for some international brands in Egypt.

Abdelrahman Hagag has been awarded second place in Al-Shrouk Third Creative Festival that was held from the 11th of March to the 14th of March at the Cairo Opera House.

On Friday the 10th of March 2018, MSA Science club in cooperation with its NGO Partner Vitiea and Its branch Cairo university Science club branch, have jointly lunched its second contribution in the Egyptian Science week with a creative event. The event entitled “The Mystery of Circles” is a science communication and awareness event with a unique concept based on combining social skills development and behavior with Science delivery through games and inspiration. The event organization and the idea is accredited to Vitiea org. Under the chairmanship of Professor Hafez A Radi and his deputy, Dr. Said Mabrouk, the conference presented scientific research to 18 researchers from the faculty as well as 4 invited speakers from outside the university.

The Science club was invited to be a field partner to the Egyptian Science Week. A prestigious scientific awareness event that occurs every year sponsored by the highest ranks scientific entities among them Nature Arabia, Scientific American, IEEE and academic partners like Jameel Foundation, AUC and NTRA. The science club have presented its first contribution through a project/presentation skills workshop on Wednesday 7th of March that started at 1:00 pm and ended at 5:00 pm.

The Biotechnology students visited the "Plant Protection Research Institute" as part of an activity to the "Host Plant Resistance" elective course. The students got the tremendous opportunity to listen to lectures given by the Chairman of the institute.

Participation of dentistry students and staff members in the 6th international conference of Arab Society of therapeutic nutrition and complementary medicine its topic is nutrition in focus of youth health.

Our students at the Faculty of Biotechnology just got a chance to go on a fieldtrip to the technological unit for dairy products at the Faculty of Agriculture, Cairo University in Giza. The aim of the visit was first to get acquainted with the manufacturing processes of making cheese, custard, rice pudding and yogurt as well as deriving inspiration for a biotechnological venture aimed at solving any challenges faced by the unit during manufacturing or improving one of their pre-existing products.

MSA University - Faculty of Management sciences signed a protocol agreement with The Chamber of Information Technology and communications to make use of MIS (Management Information System) graduation projects in developing new software programs for the Egyptian market and export. Also, the cooperation extends to include training, consulting works, research, field training and job opportunities for students and graduates.

MSA University ranked SECOND place on wednesday the 21st of February, at the first National Dental Olympics. The Olympics took place at Suez Canal University and over 6 universities participated.

The Scientific Conference of the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Modern Sciences and Arts was held on February 25, 2018 in the Student Services Building under the patronage of Professor Nawal Al-Degwi, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the University, Professor Khayri Abdul Hamid, President of the University, and Professor Nahed Sobhi, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering. Under the chairmanship of Professor Hafez A Radi and his deputy, Dr. Said Mabrouk, the conference presented scientific research to 18 researchers from the faculty as well as 4 invited speakers from outside the university.

The Faculty of Languages, MSA University hosted the award winning American writer Akhil Sharma who gave an enjoyable and insightful talk entitled “On the Duty to Tell the Truth” on Tuesday, Feb 20th, 2018 in the Cinema Hall- SSB at 11:30am. Sharma is on a short visit to Egypt to participate in the annual round of Cairo Festival for Literature which started on the 17th of February till Feb 22nd, 2018.

Our Engineering MSAians have succeeded to be in the top 15 of Huawei international ICT North Africa Competition. They challenged 1700 Students from different Egyptian universities.

In the framework of the continuous partnership and cooperation between MSA University and the Universities of Greenwich and Bedfordshire, MSA welcomed delegations from both Universities to review & evaluate all of the projects, modules, and exams of the past semester.

That's cause it's the project that was rewarded by the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, in addition to grabbing the first place in Cairo Innovates, the 4th Cairo International Exhibition.  

In a competition held between Oral pathology 2 amazing students 25 teams competed to earn the highest 3 ranks in the semester's project, Thanks to our dear students we had a lovely scientific day that was judged by our remarkable professors Dr Heba Farag and Dr Rehab kassem as well as external examiners Dr Reham Abdelal, Dr Sherif Elgiar, Dr Nermin Hasanen and Dr Reham Agour   

As MSA University understands the importance of Digital Economy and E-Commerce, The University Organized and a very important lecture by Dr Abdulwahab Ghoneim, Vice President of the Arab Union for E-commerce and the Arab economic unity council of the Arab League, about both subjects and the challenges they face.

Level one pharmacy students arranged a huge campaign over three full months to enhance the awareness of the community of the pharmacy profession as well as the awareness of differences between using brand and generic drugs. The campaign covered multiple districts within Cairo as well as other governments, it included a lot of pharmacies, malls and clubs.

Following the MSA University vision and belief in the role of scientific research in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases and in the value of encouraging Pharmacy students to participate in the scientific research.

Prof. El Sayed Nagi, Dean of the faculty of Management Sciences at MSA University, welcomed Mr. Mohsen Adel, Vice President of the Egyptian Stock Exchange, to distribute certificates of excellence for a number of the University Students who competed in the Stock Step by Step training program in which they learned the basics of trading in the Egyptian Stock Exchange.
