Economics Research Day

The Second Symposium titled 'Economics Research Day' which was organized by the Faculty of Management Sciences at October University for Modern Sciences and Arts (MSA University) was a resounding success.

 

Supervised by Dr. Doaa Abdou, the event celebrated the spirit of research and innovation, bringing together a diverse community of students, faculty members, and staff. The esteemed guest speakers provided valuable insights, and the student research session showcased the impressive work being done across disciplines.

 

The symposium began with a keynote speaker, Professor Islam Azzam – the deputy chair of the financial regulator authority , delivered a captivating presentation titled "Tackling the Future Financial Stress." His talk explored the challenges and strategies associated with navigating the ever-evolving landscape of finance. His valuable insights resonated with both aspiring professionals and seasoned experts in the field, contributing to the symposium's success.

 

Dr. Ahmed Khatab, Chairman of Development Consultancy, enlightened the audience about the future challenges in the era of sustainable development (SDGs). As an authority in the field, he discussed the critical role of sustainable practices and the opportunities they present for organizations. His presentation generated engaging discussions and inspired attendees to reflect on the impact of their work on the environment and society.

 

Eng. Mohamed Ibrahim from General Motors shared his industry insights and experiences, focusing on the latest developments in the automotive sector. His presentation provided a unique perspective on the advancements in technology and innovation within the automotive industry. Attendees gained valuable knowledge about the trends shaping the future of transportation, which contributed to the symposium's overall success.

 

The symposium also dedicated a session to a 20 student research, allowing students from various disciplines to showcase their projects. Professor Ahmed Mohamed skillfully facilitated this session, providing a platform for students to present their findings and engage in meaningful discussions with their peers and faculty members. The student presentations highlighted the remarkable work being done by the next generation of researchers and demonstrated the breadth of research interests within the academic community.

 

Throughout the day, attendees had numerous opportunities to network, participate in discussions, and foster interdisciplinary collaborations. The provision of refreshments offered welcomed breaks and encouraged further interactions among participants. The symposium created a vibrant and stimulating atmosphere, promoting the exchange of ideas and the formation of new connections.
