Discover the Power of AI to Shape the Future of Cinema and Theatrical Experiences

The Department of Cinema and Theatre Design at the Faculty of Arts and Design successfully concluded its annual scientific conference. The conference, which delved into the successful integration of artificial intelligence into cinematic and theatrical arts in the presence of Prof. Dr. Khairy Abdel Hamid, MSA University President, Prof. Dr. Tarek Saleh, Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Design, and a group of specialists and academics.

This year's conference, "Discover the Power of AI to Shape the Future of Cinema and Theatrical Experiences," took place on December 20th at SSB. It brought together many leading artists, academics, innovators, and students to discuss the opportunities and challenges of harnessing new technologies.

Through keynote presentations and panel discussions, attendees gained valuable insights into how AI can enhance filmmaking and theatrical production through new tools, creative techniques, and audience experiences—provided it is implemented responsibly and guided by an artistic vision.

In conclusion, recommendations were made regarding sound and balanced adoption of artificial intelligence in these areas. It was decided that AI should be regarded as a means to an end rather than an end itself and used wisely to augment human creativity rather than replace it.

The conference was honoured to host distinguished guests, including Prof. Dr. Taher Abdel Azim (Helwan University), Prof. Dr. Hossam Abu El-Ela (Cinema Academy Institute), Dr. Mohamed Abdel Shakur (Dr. Engineer, Architect, Data Scientist, and Founder of mnml.ai), and Associate Professor Dr. Zainab Habib (MSA University). Thank you to all who participated in this significant discussion.
