Humanizing the Ethics of AI

 

On Sunday 9th of April 2023 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM @ Room C112.

 

The Computer System Engineering Department (CSE) at the Faculty of Engineering is inviting the students to attend a technical TechTalk seminar entitled ‘Humanizing the Ethics of AI :Towards Programing Moral Values’ which will be given by Dr. Ahmed Ayoub, Assistant Professor at the Computer System Department, Faculty of Engineering.

 

The Seminar will cover the following topics:

 

  • Introduce the concept of ethics in AI and explain why it is important to consider ethical implications when developing AI systems.
  • Explain what AI is, how it works, and how it is used in various applications.
  • Discuss the ethical issues that arise when using AI, such as privacy, bias, and the potential for misuse.
  • Discuss the potential solutions to these ethical issues, including the development of ethical frameworks and guidelines for AI development.
  • Summarize the discussion and emphasize the importance of considering ethical implications when developing AI systems.
