Assistant professor Shaza Ahmed

Shaza Ahmed got her bachelor's degree from the Faculty of Biotechnology, MSA University, Egypt and was hired as a teaching assistant at the faculty of Biotechnology in 2010.

 

She was awarded a Master’s degree in 2017 in Biotechnological sciences from faculty of Science, Cairo University. Her work focused  on the effect of Lapatinib drug and the transactivation of singaling pathways in breast cancer patients in Egypt.

 

In 2023 she was awarded a Ph.D. from Faculty of Science, Cairo University.

Her P.h.D research focused on establishing a database and searching for new hot spot mutations in several breast cancer genes among familial and non- familial breast cancer patients.

She has been working at the faculty of Biotechnology as an Assistant lecturer since 2010 and now she has been promoted to lecturer at the Faculty of Biotechnology, MSA University.
