The 9th Scientific Conference of the Faculty of Mass Communication on "Digital Media and Social Inclusion" was hosted by MSA University. The conference took place on November 25-26, 2023, with the first day featuring an official opening attended by prominent speakers, including Her Excellency Dr. Nevine El-Qabbag, the Minister of Social Solidarity, and several experts in the field.
Panel discussions followed, addressing the current state of media education and social Inclusion with the participation of various experts. Recommendations on these issues were also presented. The day included a workshop aimed at training participants, including students, on "Personal Marketing."
On the second day, simultaneous scientific sessions discussed the challenges and opportunities in the field of digital media. Topics such as digital media and support for diversity and inclusion, digital media education and social Inclusion, digital media and psychological support, and digital media and social representation were highlighted.
The conference concluded with the announcement of four research papers winning the Excellence Award. Prior to this, a discussion session took place where academics and practitioners in the field of media emphasized the importance of social Inclusion in various aspects of society.
