Machine Learning in Healthcare: Breast Cancer & Covid-19 Detection

Yesterday on Campus with more than 60 attendees including MSA Staff, students and external attendees,

 

the Faculty of Computer Science held a seminar under the title of “Machine Learning in Healthcare: Breast Cancer & Covid-19 Detection” where topics such as how to develop a machine learning model to detect breast cancer in the early stages and covid-19 detection and how to optimize the model in order to obtain better results were discussed.

 

The seminar was presented by Dr. Ali Khater and Eng. Shereen Elfeki as well as the Computer Science students Abdelrahman Ezz and Moustafa Said who presented a publication that was accepted and published by IEEE Xplore and who were honored for their marvelous, outstanding research performance.
