Health Communication and Digital Media Conference

MSA University witnesses the 7th annual conference "Health Communication and Digital Media, organized by the faculty of Mass Communication, for two consecutive days. The conference explored different interdeciplinary topics between the media and health resulting some valuable contributions. The Mass Communication 7th annual conference consisted of seven sessions.

 

The first session discussed the “Health Communication in Media Education Institutions” Moderated by Prof. Dr. Hassan Emad Mekkawy, Broadcasting Professor and Former Dean of the Faculty of Mass Communication, Cairo University. Followed by a virtual roundtable entitled " Media & Interdisciplinary Studies in the Arab Countries: Opportunities and Challenges" in cooperation with ICD, AEJMC.Moderated by Professor Samy El Sherif, Dean of the Faculty of Mass Communication - Modern University of Technology and Information (MTI).

 

MSA University also honored on the first day of the conference , Anissa Hassouna Member of the Egyptian Parliament CEO of Goud Charity Hospital and Al Nas Children Hospital, for her Outstanding Achievements in the field of Health Development.

 

The second day of the conference witnessed a discussion session on Health in light and digital platform, Moderated by Mr. Mohamed El Hawary editor in Chief of el Fanar platform, and three parallel sessions on Digital Media Literacy and Education Health Communication, Health Communication from an Institution and Traditional Perspective, and Traditional and New Media and Health Awareness.All sessions were live streamed to give an opportunity for those who were not physically present to attend.
