Developing the Visual Identity of the Administrative Capital

MSA University would like to announce and congratulate with full pride the Faculty of Arts and Design, and its third year students (Interior Design Department), for the winning of four projects for the design of street and roundabouts furniture in the competition of “Developing the Visual Identity of the Administrative Capital” directed for private and private universities.

 

In implementation of the university’s mission in serving the community and the environment, The Minister of Higher Education Prof. Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, awarded the prizes to the winners at the honoring ceremony that was held at the Grand Nile Towers Hotel. The competition involved 25 private universities whereas our students won 4 out of 8 prizes in the roundabouts and street furniture category with the presence of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ayman Ashour, Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research for Universities Affairs, Prof. Dr. Helmy El Ghar, Secretary of the Council of Private and Private Universities, and President The Department of Interior Design, Professor Dr. Rasha Al-Zeini, and the Project Supervisory Board, Dr. Hoda Madkour, Eng. Fatima Zakaria, Eng. May Othman, Eng. Youmna Hamdi, Eng. Nesma Alaa.

The competition aimed to develop the visual identity of the new administrative capital for Street and roundabouts Furniture. The winning designs were based on the principle of sustainability by containing all models on solar cells to provide clean energy that is used to charge mobile devices for the visitors of the government district in the new administrative capital, in addition to harmony with the visual image of the government district, whose designs were inspired by Egyptian civilizations to reflect a contemporary Egyptian identity.
