After a constructive presentation of their paper, Eng. Hazem Mohamed Eissa together with Eng. Amr Mahmoud Ahmed, of ECE Department, have succeeded to get the sixth position out of 200 submitted papers to IEEE EMBS International Student conference, from several Egyptian universities. The students' paper titled “Implementation of Smart Ovulation Detection Device", mainly concerns with bio instrumentation.

The conference was held last October, in Cairo University, where the jury evaluated the proposed paper consisted of Egyptian and foreign examiners, such as Prof. Dr. Sherif Mourad, the Dean of Engineering Department, Cairo University, and Prof. Dr. Mark Titchener, Bioengineering Institute, University of Auckland, New Zealand. The students are now proceeding forward to finalize and implement their project based on their novel and creative idea, under supervision of Dr. Ehab El Sehely. Please note that their rank is first compared to all private universities in Egypt and to universities with no biomedical or laser special departments. Heartily congratulations.
