ECE Assistant Prof. Sherif Kamel back from India Conference

Dr. Sherif Kamel, Assistant Professor of Communication and Electronics Engineering Department, participated in the International Conference on Science, Engineering and Management-ICSEM 2013 at the Srinivasan Engineering College, India on 17th and 18th May 2013. Dr. Sherif was invited to participate as a chief guest for the inauguration function. He was also a keynote speaker at the seminar which was attended by more than 300 people from all fields of engineering.

The main objective of the conference is to serve as an international forum for researchers and practitioners interested in recent advances in the areas of Science, Engineering and Management. It provides an opportunity to present and exchange advanced scientific and technological information in hardware, software and theoretical foundation in these areas. It was a true opportunity for both academia and industry experts to discuss and present the latest technological advances and research results in the fields of theoretical, experimental and application of engineering sciences and technology. Dr. Sherif also presented a seminar on “Data and Foreseen Explosion in Mobile Communications Networks” covering fourth generation (4G) networks in Egypt, India and the whole world. Researchers were also encouraged to submit research papers, for which Dr. Sherif was a juror judge evaluating and giving feedback for research papers by post-grad students. Before returning from India, Dr. Sherif landed a signed agreement between MSA and the Srinivasan Engineering College for an exchange program between the two universities to exchange students and staff to expand their horizons, knowledge and culture.
