Resilience in Physical therapy for Orthopedics

The Faculty of Physical Therapy at October University for Modern Sciences and Arts (MSA University) organized a huge scientific day under the title “Resilience in Physical therapy for Orthopedics” on Sunday 19th of March, 2023.

 

This conference was under the auspices of Dr. Nawal El-Degwi, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Prof. Dr. Khayri Abdel Hamid, President of the University, and Prof. Dr. Olfat Diab, Dean of the Faculty of Physical therapy at MSA University.

 

Many experts and specialists in the field of physical therapy for sports injuries and orthopedic surgeries participated in the conference. In addition, many scientific lectures were given by a group of professors of physical Therapy and orthopedics, including:

 

  • Prof. Dr. Khaled Ayad, Professor of Physical therapy for Orthopedics and Its Surgery and Dean of the faculty of Physical therapy, Deraya University.
  • Prof. Dr. Mohamed Sarhan, Assistant Professor of Physical therapy for Orthopedics and Its Surgery, South Valley University.
  • Prof. Dr. Mohamed Tag, Assistant Professor of Orthopedics, Faculty of Medicine, Kasr Al-Ainy.
  • Dr. Fatma El-Bakry, Manual therapy consultant and certified trainer, primephysio UK.
  • Dr. Ibrahim Enaba Head of the Sports Rehabilitation Authority in Zamalek Club, the first team, and a certified primephysio trainer.
  • Dr. Mohamed Al-Sheshtawy Physical therapist and rehabilitation specialist in Zamalek Club, the first team, and a certified trainer at the AIMS Academy.
  • Dr. Ibrahim Tobba Assistant Lecturer, Department of Physical therapy for Orthopedics and Its Surgery, Beni Suef University.
  • Dr. Menan Aliy El Deen Assistant Lecturer, Department of Physical therapy for Orthopedics and Its Surgery, MSA University.
  • Dr. Athar Tarek Assistant Lecturer of Physical therapy for Orthopedics and Its Surgery, MSA University.

 

The scientific day was held in the presence of a number of faculty staff members and teaching assistants, the participation of students in the faculty, and the attendance of many physical therapists and students of various Egyptian faculties of physical therapy.
