An academic and scientific agreement has been signed between the Australian Monash University and MSA University in its headquarter in 6th October City. This agreement has been considered as the first academic cooperation of a kind between an Egyptian University and one of the largest and widely renowned Australian University.

During that session which was headed by Dr Nawal El Degwi both parties agreed upon having joint scientific researches in the fields of pharmacy, and biotechnology to be bonded together, and also agreed on participating in faculty members and students' exchange programmes.
It's noteworthy that Monash University was one of the first Universities in the world to develop (Plancez) a Swine Flu vaccine as it has the biggest research centers and labs.

Monash University has more than 50,000 students registered and enrolled in its Schools that have branches in 6 other countries. MSA and Mounash University also agreed upon having PhD postgraduate programmes for its students and faculty members in order to guarantee quality education for them from around the world.

The Australian delegation consisted of Professor Stephanie Fahey, vice president of Mounash University for International Affairs and Dr Nizar Farjou, University's consultant of the Middle East Area who both took part in United Nations March that was organized by MSA where 1000 students have also participated in order to spread health awareness and stop smoking.
