This course is designed to teach the student didactically and in the laboratory the principles and components of removable partial dentures and the sequence and technical procedures involved in the fabrication of different designs of removable partial dentures, with emphasis on considerations such as support, occlusion, and health of the oral structures.

Components of partial dentures. Principles of design of partial dentures. Impression making for partial dentures. Jaw relations for partial dentures. Fabrication and insertion of partial dentures.
