Management students Earn tremendous success

Won the 1st place among all universities which is worth 50,000 EGP, in a contest sponsored by The Arab African Bank for the university students who rendered 47 projects comprised of new ideas to create advanced banking services. Nashwa Mamdouh won the University Cup over four faculties which are; Faculty of Mass Communication; Faculty of Computer Science; Faculty of Management Sciences and Faculty of Languages. She also won a scholarship from Middlesex University and she is working right now at MSA as an assistant teacher in the Faculty of Mass Communication.

Rania Ghalwash from Faculty of Mass Comm. has won the Faculty Cup for being the first on her graduating group.


 


CAPMAS 'الجهاز المركزى للتعبئة و الأحصاء': “The number of graduates who are not working is limited to 4.1%”

The number of MSA graduates which are not working is limited to 4.1% The Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS) has completed a thorough research on MSA University graduates in order to analyze their employment record. Out of 14 classes of Graduates the results portrayed an outstanding record limited to 8.1% of students that are currently not working. Once you subtract the number of students enrolled in graduate school and military service, this number drops to 4.1%. This incredible statistic verifies that MSA University graduates have the highest demand in the job market, and they are truly the cream of the crop.

(Electronic Engineering Graduates) " Our graduation project from the faculty of of Electronic Engineering at MSA University won the 2nd place in the International Contest for Electronic Design, in which universities from all around the world have participated. MSA University came in the second place whereas France came in the third place". The competition organized by the International Scientific Organization, IEEE for graduation projects of students in the Department of Electronic Engineering.

(Architectural EngineeringStudents) "Our project won the first place in the First National Architectural Contest in Egypt, in which all national universities participated (over 38 universities)"

(Mass Communication & Engineering Students) We won the first place in the Quest for knowledge Contest that was organized by the Student Union (SU) of the AUC. This contest included the American University in Rome, American University in Paris, American University in Romania, American University in Beirut and American University in Cairo. MSA University came in first place, American University in Rome (AUR) came in second place and American University in Cairo (AUC) came third. By winning the contest MSA University was awarded the “UNIVERSITY OF THE YEAR.


Winning the bid to host and organize the largest International Model United Nations student conference



Jointly with Harvard University held in Sharm El Sheikh in 2004, and which was attended by more than 1200 youths from 87 countries from across the six continents worldwide. The conference was inaugurated by Mr. Gamal Mubarak.

 







Winning second place after Ain Shams University who won first place at the 4 th Annual Competition of Audit Simulation organized by the American University in Cairo in cooperation with one of the largest international Audit Companies: Price Water house Coopers and held in May 2006. Participating in this competition were Accounting students from the Accounting Department of Cairo University, Ain Shams University , MSA, Misr International University and the American University in Cairo .

(Architectural Engineering Students)The architecture students in the Faculty of Engineering achieved the first position in the third national conference (Where Community Meets Nature) held in February 2006 under the auspices of Cairo University

(Mass Communication students) came in among the top 5 finalists from all international universities in the international Mass Communication contest called (Ibdaa) that was held in Dubai Media City in April 2006.



Dr. El Degwi’S professorship

In a very unique and prestigious ceremony held on the 12th of May, 2008 in Middlesex University, Dr. Nawal El-Degwi (Head of the Board of Trustees at October University for Modern Sciences and Arts MSA). Middlesex University, one of the most prominent universities in the U.K., nominated Dr. Nawal for this prestigious prize due to her extensive history and achievements in the field of education
