October University for Modern Sciences and Arts (MSA) has been renowned not only as a world class academic establishment but also as the regional first choice university. The most important factor among a lot of others is the fact that it provides the Best of British Higher Education in Egypt. MSA University is the continuation of the extensive network of Dar El Tarbiah language schools where Dr Nawal El Degwi was profoundly keen on introducing the British certificate of IGCSE and generating opportunities for individuals to fulfill their potentials.
MSA has always attracted students from all sectors of society locally as well as attracting International students from allover the world.

MSA’s professional, highly qualified and dedicated staff is able to compete and excel in an ever changing dynamic world and to stand on equal footing with their peers from other international universities. The excellence in curricula, facilities and highly equipped classes and labs added to that attraction.

MSA did not confine its contribution in the total advancement and growth of the community where it exists, but also went far beyond the local community to the outer world and all the Arab countries as we host their students to cherish and guide them on equal footing with their brothers and sisters in Egypt.

The international students would enjoy several channels for students’ feedback such as the board of study, open door policy and online Module evaluation besides the International students’ support committee that bonds all students either local or international in one pot. MSA also attracts international students because of the dual degree that is granted to the graduates; one from Egypt and the other from either Greenwich or Middlesex Universities according to the academic major.

MSA Campus does not offer specific accommodation yet. But 6th October City where the MSA campus is located is full of lodges, apartment buildings and flats. The area is safe, has all kinds of transportation, in addition to our own university buses which gather students from all over Cairo. In reference to the cost of living in Egypt, if two or three students live together in one apartment it would cost them on average 2500-3000 EGP per month.  Cost of living is of course subjective.
